Pop Smile!, Laura the Negotiator and Pretending to be Chefs (OK Timmy really is, the rest of us just try)

This first photo is one of my favourites! I think it's just so cute and funny. That 2nd morning together we decided we had better try to get a rough schedule of what we might want to do while we were in Phuket. We spread brochures and maps all over the bed trying to each pick what we wanted to do most. There was a big list! I just love Andrew, Laura and Timmy so relaxed together researching our options. Even though we've been apart from each other for months I love that this photo shows that we all just fell right back into our normal sibling routine straight away. I love that about close friends and family. :)

While planning we also happened upon our new favourite snack! Pop Smile Cheese Popcorn! Yummy to the max! We ate a lot of it while we were over there and all took some home on the plane with us when we had to leave. Just look at how happy Laura is eating it!

While adventuring around town later that day we happened to stop for lunch and found a chocolate ice cream shake and delicious coconut drink in a coconut just because that. is. cool. We also stopped in at the optometrist so Andrew could get some new glasses and sunglasses. It's pretty cool, they just took us around the store, got all his info and they were ready in a few days!

Later that night we found a tailor who was able to make a fun party dress for Laura and also make some leather jackets for us all (and a leather skirt for Laura too... look out Timmy. Hot hot!) Laura was a HARD CORE negotiator and I was thoroughly impressed! She nocked thousands of THB off our price while we were all watching with jaws dropped and stifling giggles at her serious negotiation skills. Andrew snapped a few photos of the process. (Everyone there uses calculators to show the price they want and then we could see what that was in Aussie dollars and type in our often much lower counter offer.)

We celebrated her victorious negotiation with fried ice cream. Ha.

The next day Timmy and I were under the weather but we both soldiered on to take place in our Thai Cooking class! It was so  much fun. Now, Timmy really is a chef (a very good one too) so he was right at home showing us all up with his ninja knife skills. Andrew and Laura are also very good cooks. I was not in my element but still had a blast. We learned to cook Green Curry, Pad Thai and Tom Yum soup. All of it was delicious and we got all the recipes to bring home and attempt ourselves! And may I just add that the guys looked very pretty in their floral aprons. :)

I celebrated my success as a chef with a Thai diet coke.
