Princess Consuela & Alfredo

My No. 1 Aussie sister Laura is the proud new mum (well, since January new...) of Consuela, a very cute and scruffy 1.5 year old puppy she adopted from the Lost Dogs Home. Affectionately known as Princess Consuela or Connie for short, this energetic and absolutely adorably scruffy dog is staying with us for a couple nights while Laura is away at a work conference. I must admit, she is a bit of a handful with her puppy enthusiasm but she is lots of fun and her cousin Alfred loves having the company although she completely wears him out!

After a hyper night of excited playing our house looks like a tornado hit it with stuffed toys torn apart all over the floor. I'm pretty sure Princess Consuela took every single one of Alfie's toys out of his toy bucket (yes he has a toy bucket filled with toys) and they are now all over our floor. The 2 of them together are very funny and luckily they tire each other out. Connie woke up at 5.15am this morning ready to play and after a long walk the dogs are now napping in the sun.

I captured a couple of cute photos to share. Connie of course perked up right when she saw me move to get the camera but in all the noise and moving around Alfred, exhausted from Connie's energetic antics was dead to the world snoozing on his mat.

Laura, if you're sneaking a peak from your boring conference lectures, I hope this picture of Princess Consuela makes you smile!
